April 18, 2019 // 5:30pm Dinner – 6:30pm Communion Service
Maundy Thursday commemorates Jesus’ final evening with his disciples. The name comes from the Latin ‘mandatum’ which means ‘commandment’. After washing his disciples’ feet, Jesus tells them:
“I give you a new commandment; love one another as I have loved you (John 13:34).”
We will share a simple meal together at 5:30pm (catered soup from Panera with bread), and then go into the chapel for a contemplative worship service.
Nurseries are available for children up to four years old. Older children are invited to join us for the service.
