Welcome!

Sundays @ 10:30AM

426 McDuff Ave South
Jacksonville, FL 32254

WHAT TO EXPECT

We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM at the Jacksonville City Rescue Mission, a few miles west of downtown Jacksonville. We’d love to have you join us one Sunday.

We believe that worship should reflect the hospitality of the God who welcomes each of us just as we are, so dress however you are most comfortable. Bring your questions, your doubts, your hurts and your hopes. You’ll find a group of people who are glad you came, and hear the message of the God who came for you long before you came to church!

ARRIVING

When you arrive at the City Rescue Mission, you will enter the gates to park. You will see lots of signs, just follow them! You’ll drive right past the entrance to the worship space on your way to the parking lot.

ONCE YOU ARRIVE

Once you have parked, you will see the chapel entrance to your left. Once you enter, take a left to find the cafe area for you to grab a cup of coffee or tea. You will also find the Connect Table where you can learn more about our church and about your next steps in getting connected and growing with us. Further back is the infant nursery check in, for infants up to 12 months. Greeters will be available as well to show you around.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

If you have kids in Fifth Grade or younger, you are welcome to send them to children’s church where they will be taught and cared for by a team of workers who have been screened and trained. They will have a great time playing and learning together in a clean and safe environment and will have age-appropriate activities. Please check all of your children in at the kiosks by the nurseries.

THE WORSHIP SERVICE

Our worship style is a blend of contemporary and ancient elements. You will hear the sounds of guitars and drums, but mostly the sound of joyful voices. We’ll sing a mix of new songs and older hymns. Our order of service gives us time for quiet reflection, prayer, reading, and singing. Each week there is a sermon based on a passage of the Bible. The message will point us to the good news of who Jesus is and what he has done, is doing, and will do to redeem the world. We also celebrate the Lord’s Supper each week. We believe that in all of these things God meets us, loves us, and shapes us as his people.
